Our Experience:
Our experience over the last seven years informs us that many small and medium sized businesses simply do not have reasonable access to affordable business technologies that actually empower the business administrators to effectively manage the technology. In general we have found the two following scenarios to represent the dilemma faced by most companies:
Scenario One:
Many companies seeking to initiate or enhance the E-Commerce capabilities of their business put the project out to bid. The proposals are often very expensive. The largest cost center is predominately labor costs for custom programming. The solutions are not only costly, in many cases they require ongoing recurring fees be paid to the contractor to administrate and maintain the solution. Every little change in the customer's business requires additional costs to cover payments for programming changes.
